SANT JOAN LABRITJA (SAN JUAN)
Sant Joan de Labritja is located in the north of the island and is known for its rugged coastline and unspoiled natural beauty. The district includes some of the most secluded beaches on the island, such as Cala Xarraca and Cala de Sant Vicent. It's a great place to escape the crowds and enjoy the peace and tranquility of nature. Sant Juan is also home to some of the oldest and most traditional villages on the island, such as Sant Llorenç de Balàfia and Sant Joan de Labritja.
Popular beaches are Benirras where drummers make noise at the sunset ritual in honour of the Goddess Tanit. The north of the island is dense in greenery with sprawling plots of fruitful land and has wonderful hidden coves such as Cala Xuclar, Sillot des Rencli and Cala d'en Serra.
