SANT JOSEP DE SA TALAIA (SAN JOSE)
Sant Josep de sa Talaia is located in the southwest of the island and is known for its natural beauty and mountains including the highest peak on the island "Sa Talaia" a point to experience spectacular views. The district includes some of the most popular beaches on the island, such as Cala Conta where locals and visitors flock at golden hour, Cala Bassa, Cala Tarida, Cala D'Hort where the famous majestic rock, Es Vedra emerges from the sea.
There are many famous beach clubs in this zone such as Blue Marlin at Cala Jondal Beach, Cotton Beach Club at Cala Tarida and Sa Trinxa at Las Salinas. Sa Caleta is a cove known for its distinctive red cliffs and the nearby Phoenician settlement ruins which form part of the islands "World Heritage" status. The cove is also known as Es Bol Nou.
