SANT ANTONI DE PORTMANY (SAN ANTONIO)

Sant Antoni de Portmany, or San Antonio for short, is located on the southwest coast of the island. It is known for its lively nightlife and busy boat harbour, with a wide variety of bars restaurants and clubs catering to all tastes. During the day, visitors can enjoy the beautiful beaches and coves in the area, such as Cala Gracio and Cala Salada. San Antonio is also a popular destination for water sports, such as jet skiing and parasailing.

For those seeking beautiful look-out points and sunsets the best options are from the "sunset strip" with sunset views from Cafe Del Mar and Cafe Mambo, Cala Saladeta point or from North San Antonio at "Las Puertas del Cielo" (The Gates of Heaven).  San Antonio is an eclectic mix of everything from the noisy back-streets of the "West End" attracting a young crowd to the stillness and postcard perfect countryside views in the North, found in Santa Anges and San Mateo.
